ACT Theatre 2012

An adaptation of the Southeast Asian epic by local playwrights Yussef El-Guindi and Stephanie Timm, Ramayana had its world premiere at ACT in 2012. It is a classic tale of love and adventure, following the young Rama as he ventures out to save his wife from the clutches of an evil king. The production boasted a colorful and fantastical design that brought something bold and new to Seattle stages.
